Today, in our client spotlight, we’re featuring Siobhan, a dedicated member who has made significant strides in her fitness journey. Siobhan’s story is not only inspiring but also a testament to the holistic benefits that a healthy lifestyle can offer. Let’s dive into how far she’s come.

FROM GYM HESITANT TO GYM ENTHUSIAST

Siobhan didn’t always enjoy the gym. In fact, there was a time when she struggled to get into the groove of working out. The thought of walking through the doors felt like a chore. But now, Siobhan says, “It’s more of a lifestyle for me now.” Over time, she’s seen a massive difference in her physical and mental well-being, and that’s what keeps her coming back. The key to Siobhan’s transformation has been her dedication and consistency. Gradually, she’s grown stronger and stronger, and today, she enjoys working out more than ever before. “How I feel today compared to a year ago is night and day,” she reflects. Siobhan was once out of shape and not in a great headspace. Fast forward a year, and she feels like a completely different person. She describes her gym routine as “medicine for her head,” underscoring the mental clarity and emotional balance that exercise has brought into her life.

TAPPING INTO THE FULL GYM EXPERIENCE

What truly sets Siobhan apart is her engagement with all the extras our gym offers. Beyond her weekly personal training sessions, she participates in BoxFit, MaxSweat, and our mobility and core classes. These sessions are designed to complement her overall fitness goals, ensuring she works on every aspect of her health. In addition, she has embraced the health challenges we run throughout the year (steps, hydration, whole-foods, running etc). These challenges have kept her motivated and engaged, encouraging her to push her limits both physically and mentally. The result? A fitter, more confident Siobhan. She particularly loves BoxFit, which she credits for toning her arms. “I can see a real difference,” she says, explaining how these classes have helped shape her physique in ways she’s proud to show off. It’s not just about the physical changes, though. Siobhan’s improvements in strength and mobility have translated into a more active lifestyle outside the gym. After work, when she could easily sit on the sofa, she now chooses to hit the gym. After a workout, she returns home feeling energised and productive, ready to tackle the day’s remaining tasks with renewed energy.

SETTING A POSITIVE EXAMPLE FOR THE FAMILY

One of the most meaningful outcomes of Siobhan’s fitness journey is the example she sets for her kids. They’ve noticed the changes in their mum—her dedication to fitness and the impact it’s had on her life. For Siobhan, this is important. She’s proud to show her children the value of health and fitness, instilling in them the idea that looking after your body and mind is essential.

A YEAR OF PROGRESS: METRICS THAT MATTER

Siobhan’s progress isn’t just visible—it’s measurable. Over the past year, she has successfully trimmed 13mm in body fat, lost 5.5 inches, and shed 5 pounds. What’s more, she now sits comfortably within all her healthy ranges on every key metric. It’s worth noting that she didn’t have a large amount of weight to lose, but her goals were focused on losing body fat and toning up—and she has achieved exactly that. Her success story is a reminder that it’s not always about drastic changes in weight but rather about finding balance, building strength, and improving overall well-being.

SIOBHAN’S PROGRAMME: SMALL GROUP MEMBERSHIP, BIG RESULTS

Siobhan is part of our £21.50 per week small group membership. This includes a weekly strength-based personal training session, access to BoxFit, MaxSweat, and mobility and core classes, as well as weekly check-ins and quarterly goal reviews. On top of that, she receives a workout of the day sent to her phone through our training app, so she can come in on her own or with fellow small group members whenever it fits her schedule. We couldn’t be prouder of Siobhan’s achievements, and we look forward to seeing her continue to thrive on the gym floor.
