What is HYROX? 🤔
HYROX is a fitness competition designed to test muscular endurance, aerobic capacity, and mental resilience. It’s low skill, high effort—meaning you don’t need a background in Olympic lifting or complex gymnastics movements. Instead, it’s all about functional fitness, combining running with strength-based stations.

At MaxFit, we’ve structured our HYROX Training Programme so that anyone can participate—as long as you’re comfortable running (or at least willing to build up to it!). Sessions are adaptable, allowing you to progress at your own pace while developing the stamina and strength needed to thrive in HYROX-style workouts. Whether you’re training for an event or simply looking to shake up your routine, this is a fantastic way to challenge yourself.

🔥 Expert Coaching & Small Groups
Unlike some gyms that run these sessions with large numbers, we cap our sessions at just 6 people to ensure high-quality coaching and individual focus. This guarantees that you get the attention and guidance needed to refine your technique and push yourself safely.
🔥 Balanced Training for Maximum Results
Our SGPT sessions are strength-based, meaning you’ll develop squat, bench, deadlift, and press strength—perfect for sled pushes, pulls, and wall balls in HYROX training. The combination of both ensures a well-rounded fitness programme, where strength and endurance complement each other.
🔥 7 Days a Week
We’ll have programming available on Wodify 365 days a year, giving you access to fresh workouts whenever you train. This means you can integrate HYROX training into your routine, whether you’re attending coached sessions or following the programming independently.
🔥 Structured for Progress
Each session will be carefully programmed to build up your performance, whether you’re looking to enter a race or just want to improve overall endurance and strength. Progress tracking and structured training blocks will ensure you’re constantly improving, with workouts tailored to challenge and develop your fitness.
How Does It Fit Into the MaxFit Timetable? 🗓️
✔️. We’re starting with 1-2 sessions per week (early mornings & peak evenings).
✔️ You’ll need to book via the app (send us a message if you need access).
✔️ Small Group PT members can use their credits for HYROX sessions.
✔️ Drop-ins & HYROX-only memberships will be available soon.
HYROX is structured as a small group training session rather than a large class, ensuring a quality coaching experience that aligns with our existing SGPT structure.
